The Battle of Winceby: The Forgotten Battle That Changed Lincolnshire
On the 11th of October 1643, a fierce fifteen-minute battle just outside Spilsby helped decide the fate of Lincolnshire. This decisive clash reminds us that even the quietest corners of our county once stood at the heart of national history.
