Spilsby Town Council puts up precept

Spilsby Town Council have stated they will be increasing its Council Tax charge by 2.5% for the 2015/16 financial year.

The Town Council’s annual precept for the average Band D property will rise from £48.33 to £50.80, an increase of five pence a week.

Due to funding cuts instigated by Central Government, East Lindsey District Council has reduced their Revenue Support Grant for Parish Councils by 32% – reflecting the cut made by Central Government.
